Pakistan Vs England First ODI Match, Pakistan Elect to Bat on Dry Wicket
Southhampton: Pakistan Vs England First ODI match has started on Wednesday and Pakistan has won the toss and elected to bat first in the first of the 5 One-Day Internationals (ODI) against England. Pakistan got off to a steady start, however, left-handed batsman Sharjeel Khan was caught behind on the 31st ball of the innings attempting a pull-shot off Mark Wood. He hit 16 runs off 15 balls which included three fours. Pakistan were 25-1 when Sharjeel departed.
Earlier, talking to Nasser Hussain during the toss, Pakistan captain revealed one change in their line-up from the first ODI against Ireland previous week. Hasan Ali, who played his first ODI against Ireland, made way for Wahab Riaz. Ben Stokes returned to international cricket after he limped during Old Trafford Test against Pakistan earlier in the tour 2016.
